Coaches, referees, and team managers make a positive impact on our children’s lives. If you’ve served in one of these roles, you’ve no doubt felt the gratitude and fulfillment of making soccer happen for so many kids. Are you ready to take the next step?

Region 13 is looking for a new cohort of Volunteers to serve on our Board. Each position presents a range of opportunities and rewards, and each is essential to making our upcoming Fall season a success.

NEXT is MORE Spring Soccer

The Region 13 NEXT program is starting back up with Sunday Scrimmages! This is a great way to stay active, have fun, and reconnect with teammates. NEXT is open to all players, and last Fall's age divisions still apply.

Weekly info and RSVPs will happen on the Spond app. To join the fun, click on your division below:

Arcadia Tournament Seeking Players

Our friends in Arcadia, AYSO Region 2, are holding a super-fun, girls-only indoor tournament from May 22–24th. All players are invited to join—no team needed, individuals will be assigned to teams. To sign up, go to the web page for the tournament and use the “Register Now” button at the top to create a SportsConnect account.

What’s New in the Fall of 2026: The cutoff date for player divisions has moved from December 31 to August 1. This change was instituted by AYSO, US Youth Soccer, and US Club Soccer in the Summer of 2025.


This affects players born between August 1–December 31. For the upcoming Fall 2026 season, players with birthdays in this date range will remain in the same division they were in during the Fall 2025 season. This will result in approximately 40% of players in Region 13 playing an additional year in a specific division. For example, players born between Aug 1 and Dec 31 may spend two years in 7U, or three years in 12U. Children with birthdays between January 1–July 31 will experience no changes.

🏆 Replacing Trophies Lost in the Fires


One of the many meaningful items families lost in last year’s Eaton fire were the trophies Region 13 players earned throughout their time in the program. As part of his Eagle Scout project, a Region 13 alumnus, Nathan Bowser, is helping to restore those special memories by replacing the lost trophies. If your player would like to receive replacements, please take a moment to fill out this form.



Letter from the Commissioner 

In just the past month, it has happened. I’m not sure if it’s the start of daylight savings time, or one really hot day, or the choice that I made that I could wear shorts to the grocery store: Summer is coming. The sunshine and hot days will bring beach trips, air-conditioned movies, and vacations. 

For AYSO, the approaching summer means something else: registration time for the big fall season. Keep an eye out on our website and in your email for Early Registration so that you can reserve a spot for your family. We almost always end up with more kids signing up than we can find coaches and referees for their teams. So please seriously consider volunteering this year. There’s a place for everyone: coaches, referees, board members, photographers, uniform managers, and field setter-uppers. We need everyone’s help to make the Region go.
