Spring league games started last weekend! For players in 10U–14U, check the website for your game schedules.

For players in 6U-8U, we will be at Victory Park on Sunday mornings, with group activities and games for each division. Look out for updates from your coaches.

Grad Series & Winter Stars Shone

Region 13’s Winter programs for our youngest players, Grad Series and Winter Stars, wrapped up on February 28. Congrats to all the players who practiced, competed, worked hard, and had fun playing soccer with friends. And to all of our volunteer Coaches and Referees: HUGE THANKS, we couldn’t have done it without you.

Rose City All-Stars 🌹⚽

Immediately following the Fall core season, All-Star teams in our competitive divisions donned Region 13’s distinctive all-red All-Star kits to compete against teams from neighboring regions. Many of our squads across regional, area, and sectional levels finished at the top of the standings, placed high in the playoffs, and continued to compete in Area and Sectional tournaments. Congratulations to all our All-Star players and families, and thanks to all of our volunteers. 

Save the Date for Fall Signups, & Updated Age Groups Coming Soon! 

Registration for the Fall 2026 season is set to open in mid-April. 

What’s New in the Fall of 2026: The cutoff date for player divisions has moved from December 31 to August 1. This change was instituted by AYSO, US Youth Soccer, and US Club Soccer in the Summer of 2025.

This affects players born between August 1–December 31. For the upcoming Fall 2026 season, players with birthdays in this date range will remain in the same division they were in during the Fall 2025 season. This will result in approximately 40% of players in Region 13 playing an additional year in a specific division. For example, players born between Aug 1 and Dec 31 may spend two years in 7U, or three years in 12U. Children with birthdays between January 1–July 31 will experience no changes.

🏆 Replacing Trophies Lost in the Fires

One of the many meaningful items families lost in last year’s Eaton fire were the trophies Region 13 players earned throughout their time in the program. As part of his Eagle Scout project, a Region 13 alumnus, Nathan Bowser, is helping to restore those special memories by replacing the lost trophies. If your player would like to receive replacements, please take a moment to fill out this form.

Letter from the Commissioner 

Hello everyone,

Yesterday was the first day of spring, but with these temperatures, it already feels like summer is here. While professional players may play soccer in almost any weather (except lightning), our top priority is keeping our kids, coaches, volunteers, and fields safe. When it rains, we sometimes end games earlier than expected to protect the fields so they stay in good shape for the whole season.

When it comes to heat, we have a clear plan in place to take care of everyone. Our Region 13 Heat Policy helps guide decisions on hot days so players, coaches, and referees stay safe. I encourage everyone to take a quick look at it so you know what to expect when temperatures rise.

We currently have a few hundred kids playing Spring Soccer, from 6U all the way up to 19U, and I want to give a huge thank-you to our amazing volunteer coaches, referees, and board members who make it all possible. Spring soccer only works because of their time, energy, and love for the game.

If your child wasn’t able to join a spring team this year or you didn’t hear about the season, don’t worry — we’d love to have you next time! Registration for our big fall season should open in about a month. Each fall, a couple thousand families across our Region come together for soccer, friendship, and community, and we hope your family will be part of it too.
